Top 12 Marketing Blogs For Women, By Women

When I started One Woman Marketing, I wanted to create a resource that would resonate with women business owners and help them market their business authentically. Since then I’ve discovered a number of like-minded souls.
Check out my list of the top 12 marketing blogs for women, by women:
Lip-sticking. This blog features frequent updates by several women writers who discuss online marketing to women and for women.
Wonder Branding. While technically a blog on marketing to women, Michele Miller’s Wonder Branding offers some great marketing advice for women as well. She also provides smart commentary about the latest news from the marketing world.
Internet Marketing Sweetie. Alice Seba, the woman behind Internet Marketing Sweetie, believes that you really can kill your competitors with kindness. She blogs about internet marketing strategies and provides a free internet marketing course in addition to several coaching programs.
Diva Marketing. Blogger Toby Bloomberg sees Diva Marketing as an approach that’s fun, bold, savvy, and always aligned with your brand’s objective. While Toby blogs about a number of marketing topics, she specializes in social media.
Indie Biz Chicks. Crissy Herron’s passion for do-it-yourself entrepreneurship led her to start Indie Biz Chicks, a website that provides business tips to “women who’d rather work for themselves, than work for the man.” I interviewed her in episode five of the One Woman Marketing podcast.
The Boss Of You. Lauren Bacon and Emira Mears are web designers and authors of the book “The Boss Of You: Everything A Woman Needs to Know to Start, Run, and Maintain Her Own Business.” Their blogs features entrepreneur profiles and tips on how to run your business with style.
Learned On Women. Andrea Learned, author of the book “Don’t Think Pink,” offers intelligent tips on how to reach today’s female consumers.
IttyBiz. When it comes to marketing, microbusiness marketing consultant Naomi Dunn tells it like it is. In addition to her blog, Naomi offers a number of free marketing courses.

Great list, Kelly. Thank you. I’m glad to say that I am not unfamiliar with a few on your list! I will be checking the others out as I am always looking to enhance my skills along with always looking forward to your site filled with expert advice!!! Thanks again!
Fantastic! I read the blogs of a number of these smart, savvy women, and it’s wonderful to have more to explore.
As a Seattle writer, I have a similar focus with my own business. I just pressed the “publish” button on a new blog post “How to Nurture Loyal Women Customers.” http://tinyurl.com/ccfuhd Might be helpful to someone out there!
One more thing: I love the “Owning Pink” blog http://tinyurl.com/c3fbrp by Lissa Rankin, an ob/gyn, mom, author and artist I met on Twitter. Although the blog is not specifically on marketing, Lissa has some great words and inspiration for women.
Warmly, Lynn
Kelly, me again. How could I forget these two amazing women?
Holly Buchanan. She’s got her game on with a fun, sassy voice as she focuses on online marketing. Last month, I loved her post on ”multi-minding women” from the book, Too Busy to Shop by Kelley Murray Skoloda.
Marti Bareletta. She packs out her TrendSight blog with more rock-solid research than anyone I know. Her book, Marketing to Women: How to Understand, Reach, and Increase Your Share of the World’s Largest Market Segment is a classic.
Thanks again for a great post!
Lynn
Have I told you lately that you ROCK?? Thanks so much for the mention along with such super women rockstars! I am quite honored.
Another great blog to check out is Natalie MacNeil’s She Takes On the World, aimed at providing support and inspiration to women entrepreneurs. We all need that!

Thanks for the additions, Lynn & Coree! I’ve heard of all three women, but I haven’t been to their sites in quite awhile. Will have to check them out!
Kelly – I’m honored that you included Diva Marketing in your resource list of amazing women. By the way, Love your header graphic!
What a gift to be included amongst these fabulous gals! Thanks so much for mentioning us.
In the modern society, few companies could afford to neglect the great purchasing power of the women group. All kinds of marketing approches have been specially tailored to meet the needs of this group. Email marketing is among the most cost-effective ways.
However, compared to email marketing, ads on personal blogs are more persuasive!
Just to let you know I’ve started a great new blog …. but it is exclusively for people who buy The Mumpreneur Guide’s Start your own Business book … well worth a look
Great list, I had only heard of ittyBiz and Market like a Chick so you have given me lots of great sites to visit thanks!
