Coming Up in 2010: Business Resources For Women, By Women
While spreading the word about the e-course Ana Ottman and I will offer at the end of this month, I got the chance to check in with women I’ve featured on One Woman Marketing in the past and hear about their own 2010 plans. (It left me wondering, “Why don’t I do this more often?”)
The more women I connected with, the more obvious it became that a blog post was in order. So without further ado, here’s what’s been happening in the lives of other women in business.
Lynette Allen graciously offered a copy of her book, “Behind With The Laundry and Living Off Chocolate,” to one blog reader back in June 2009. Today she makes up one half of the UK’s boutique coaching partnership, which helps life and business coaches how to be more successful.
Lynette is also offering blog readers 20% off telecoaching sessions now through the end of January. Get more information at her Pink Skills blog.
Antonia Chitty wrote a guest blog post for the One Woman Marketing after I asked her a few questions about hosting giveaways. I was eager to learn more from this mumpreneur, so I invited Antonia on episode eight of the podcast, “Budget Friendly Marketing.”
Antonia recently released a new e-book called “Moving Your Business Forward in 2010,” and she updated the look of her Family Friendly Working Blog. You can become a fan of her work on Facebook’s Mumpreneur Guide page.
Kathy Korman Frey
I discovered Kathy Korman Frey while listening to one of Kimberly Wilson’s Hip Tranquil Chick podcasts. After writing a case study for Kathy’s Hot Mommas Project, I drove to the awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. where I could meet her in person.
Kathy recently launched the 2010 version of the Case Study Competition. Check out the website where you can read past case studies, enter to win a bunch of fabulous prizes, and nominate someone you know.
Megan McDonough appeared on episode 9 of the One Woman Marketing podcast, “Mindful Marketing.”
In addition to running her own marketing business, Megan was also involved in the launch of YogaHub, an online community for yoga students and practitioners. In fact, she recently invited me to speak at the YogaHub 3-Day Virtual World Conference in February, where I’ll be giving a teleseminar on Copywriting From The Heart.
She provides sales coaching for men and women, but she’s also gearing up to do a series of teleclasses and webinars on heart-centered selling that gets results. (You may find me on one of those calls!) She also helped launch Whispering Energy, a promotion and design company focused on creative solutions that bridge the gap between metaphysics and marketing.
