Big changes are brewing around here! Since the first trimester is nearing an end, I can finally share the good news: my husband and I are expecting our first child. He or she is due at the beginning of April.

(Side note: when one of my coworkers looked at this picture, he assumed we were having twins. Let me assure you: this is not the case. I just like to be extra-sure about such things.)

If you’re a regular reader of One Woman Marketing, you’ve probably noticed an abundance of guest blog posts lately. Between morning sickness and my day job, I haven’t had much energy to think up my own content.

That does NOT mean I have abandoned this blog. Quite the opposite, actually. Taking a break from writing has only renewed my enthusiasm for it. I also attended Content Marketing World two weeks ago, which rekindled my passion for all things marketing.

All these changes have made me realize just how much I’ve grown, personally and professionally, since I first mapped out my own business plan and brand. I’m now working behind the scenes to update these, so they better reflect who (and where) I am.

What does that mean for you? Well, you can expect to see more of my own posts in the future. Some of those posts will be more personal than what has appeared on this site in the past.

That DOESN’T mean this site will become a repository of baby photos and stories. Just a slightly more intimate look at the life of one woman in marketing — and all of the lessons I’m learning along the way.
