How Ebooks Can Generate Interest In Your Business

Guest PostClara Freeman is a freelance writer and author of A Life Toward Authenticity: My Authentic Woman Story, a self help ebook to living an authentic  lifestyle available for download from her personal development website.

I started my motivational site for women more than four years ago. My weekly posting schedule was geared toward encouraging women of a certain age to live happy and whole.

Ultimately, those posts began to take flight and soar into the minds of women of all ages and from every corner of the globe! Women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s began telling me how much they loved reading the posts and how my words of encouragement helped them come to terms with challenges in their own lives.

In August 2011, I published  my first ebook, A Life Toward Authenticity – My Authentic Woman Story, as a continuation of my business brand. Using an ebook to tell my personal journey to living an authentic life caused women to trust and believe in my services.

Publishing an ebook is not an easy task. You might want to consider hiring experts in this area to do the ground work for you. I was fortunate enough to have the assistance of a colleague who had published several ebooks to her credit and offered to show me the ropes.

There are countless edits, re-edits and formatting of the manuscript from its original Microsoft word document to PDF files, with the end result being a convenient downloadable product. You can make it available on your website, as a purchase or free gift for your readers. You can also have your ebook sold through Amazon.com and other online affiliates.

Once your book is published, continue to market it through social media networks like Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin. Use all of your contacts online and off to bring awareness  to your ebook and ultimately, your business.

Have you written your ebook yet?
