How Can I Help YOU in 2010? Take the Survey & Let Me Know

My mother snapped this picture of me at an art conference in Myrtle Beach. Every morning I’d carry my laptop to the coffee shop on the dock and work for a few hours. If only I had this view from my desk at home!
2009 marked a lot of firsts for me. It was my first full year of blogging for business, and the first time I created a product. I also made new friends, got engaged (woo!), and took my first cruise.
Now I want to take what I’ve learned and put it to work for YOU. I’ll start by letting you know my plans for this blog.
2010 Blog Goals
• I’ll be posting original content twice a week, now through 2010.
• I’ll be more open about my opinions and experiences, because while a part of me hesitates to create controversy or — gulp! — admit failure, the times I do seem to generate the most positive feedback from you.
• I’ll be offering a number of free teleseminars throughout the year to share marketing strategies and answer your burning questions.
These goals were inspired by blogger Chris Guillebeau, who shared his own goals in a post on mass accountability titled “In Defense of Ass Kicking.” The concept: you can kick his ass if he fails to achieve his goals by the end of the year. Feel free to kick mine too.
Now It’s YOUR Turn
I’ve also been reading a lot of Cath Duncan’s blog posts, and it’s from her that I got the idea to do a reader survey. After all, it doesn’t matter what I blog about if no one reads it. So I’m asking YOU to share your feedback.
I’ve created a short reader survey to let you share your opinion and suggest content for future posts. The survey should take about three to five minutes — just click the red button below.
EDIT: This survey is now closed. Thanks to everyone who responded! If you’d like to offer me feedback, please click on the “Contact” tab on the top right-hand corner of this page.
Thanks for sharing this time with me, and thanks for visiting the One Woman Marketing blog. You make what I do worthwhile.
