I received some bad news on Friday: a competitor with a similar name had sent me a letter saying if I didn’t surrender the Womenwise Marketing name and web site address to them within five days, they would sue. Talking to a lawyer, I learned that I had little choice but to comply.

That means that sometime in the next week, this web address will become the property of a competitor.

I will be transferring the blog content to a new domain in the next couple of days (OneWomanMarketing.com), and I encourage you to follow me there. Those who subscribe to this blog via a feed reader may have to resubscribe. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause.

How You Can Help

Naturally this situation has been overwhelming and emotional. I’ve worked on the Womenwise Marketing brand for many years, and was finally starting to see good results after hundreds of hours of search engine optimization. Now that SEO will go to benefit a competitor, and I’ll be starting from scratch.

If you want to help, there are two important things you can do:

1. Delete any and all links you may have to WomenwiseMarketing.com.

2. Help me create links to my new web site, OneWomanMarketing.com.

You may not see content on that web address yet, but in the next few days, it should look almost identical to the website you’re on now, with all the same blog posts from the past.

Your new links will help me rebuild the SEO that I have worked so hard to achieve. For people who have written guest posts for this site, I will be emailing you with new links to make the updating process a little easier. Again, I’m sorry for any inconvenience.
